Capital City Days
Next weekend (3 - 5 September, 2010) the greatest Vilnius event "Capital City Days" is coming back after one year break. Taking the city to dizzying new heights, Capital Days packs up the streets, squares and parks with pulsating action for a holiday bonanza that will last all weekend long.
Traditionally, the festival features a number of art galleries, presentation of live ancient crafts, performances of musical and dance groups, attractive aromas from cuisines of various nations, thus the visitors of this "humming prospect" blend into the middle of the entertainment whirl. Open spaces and squares of the city attract huge audiences with various concerts and extreme performances.
Festival venue - Vilnius Old Town, Gedimino avenue, Lukiskiu square, Cathedral square, Vingis park and Valakampiai beach.
